Mornings are my favourite meal of the day.. coming after 7-8 hours of fasting. A balanced meal of protein,  fat and good carbs sets me up for the day. I like to include plenty of living and fermented foods also in the mix, yoghurt. Keffir, Kombucha, Green tea Jung, or a powerhouse shake, quinoa porridge or turmeric tofu  and mushroom fry up.  

So many breakfasts cereals are low in energy, I call them 'dead' food. Low on nutrition and sugar coated, or high sugar jams on breads that are low value carbs that offer very little energy or quality nutrition to support and carry you through the day. After eating a high sugar breakfast you are likely to be hungry and looking for food not long after breakfast. 

Keep it varied, with plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, nut milks and seeds.
