Most of us know that the over use of antibiotics, drinking sugary drinks, using synthetic cleaning products and beauty creams have damaged our inner ecology.  We used to have a healthy serving of dirt with our vegetables pulled from the ground. Now everything is cleaned.. and our gut flora is suffering. 

In my kitchen I usually have a variety of fermented foods, growing,  fizzing  and gurgling with fermentation in a variety of jam jars. Its worth starting off with something simple like a Kombucha or Jung which is fermented tea or a fermented milk like Keffir, Saukraut or Kimchi. These will contribute to a healthy gut with millions of beneficial flora to keep our mental and physical well being in tip top condition.
